In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.

As Hitler says in the movie itself, 'fabelhaft!'(fabulous) I really liked the movie; such a mixture of reality and fiction made it stand out as a very creative peice of art.

Hmm, not very impressive. Started off well but seemed to have lost it half way through.

Strong but compelling. It showed how history is made. I prefered Kill Bill.

Very nice, but it made us forget all the history about NAZI Germany

What I expected from Tarantino: unpredictable

Meaningless thrill. Did not learn anything (almost) except that revenge is meaningless.

It was one awesome piece of cinematography and Brad Pitt was impressive as ever!

Fantastic! - this is the second time I've seen it and it was even better the 2nd time - had no idea it went for so long - such a great movie, I didn't realise.

I'm not usually into films that rewrite history but I really enjoyed this one. Christoph Waltz's performance is amazing. Tarantino is back!

Brilliant film. Top Tarentino action! I have to admit to wimping out and looking away during a couple of the grim violent bits (not being a big fan of scalping and all that!!!)

Well worth seeing *****
