A discussion with La Trobe Alumnus Damian Wise
La Trobe University alumni and Golden Key members gathered at the Ondergrounds Bar in the CBD on April 28 for the latest installment of the Alumnights Seminar Series.
The topic for the event, Small business: All you need to know, attracted a broad range of past and present students of the University.
Guest speaker Damian Wise delivered an engaging presentation based on a wealth of knowledge from over two decades of experience in small business.
Having graduated from La Trobe University with an Agricultural Science degree in 1979, Damian started out in the development of new products, market research and commercialising, before he moved on to work with the CSIRO and the Industrial Design Council. Damian has opened up numerous small businesses both in Australia and abroad.
The YAG working group is preparing to hold another Alumnights in June. Please submit your ideas for topics to alumni@latrobe.edu.au
